About Us
“Joyous Jams is a jam and relish producer at Elimbah in the Moreton Bay region.
They create small batches of hand-crafted jams, relishes, marmalades, and sauces just like grandma used to make, using produce in the local area. Joyous Jams creates the classics such as strawberry jam, pineapple jam, orange marmalade, tomato relish, sweet chilli sauce, and some more creative combinations such as strawberry and shiraz, strawberry and banana, and strawberry and passionfruit.
They adapt their range to whatever is available or might otherwise have been wasted.
Background
Sarah knew she was accepted into her then fiancé David’s family when she was given the family jam recipes upon their engagement.
The jam-making was born of a need to curb waste on the family strawberry farm owned by David’s parents. The farm has since sold and Sarah and David (now married!) have moved, but they still make the jam.
The jam-making business that evolved has brought so much joy, so its name was a given.
What customers say
Customers love the taste – and juicy chunks – of the jams. They also value the way Joyous Jams products give excess produce a second life. Sarah and David love seeing repeat customers coming back for more!
‘This is so fresh – perfect quality, I love it!’
‘It’s unreal jam, home-made with love and local ingredients.’
‘I love the strawberry topping – it’s not too sweet.’
