About Us
“Laceys Hill Distilling Co. is a Moreton Bay producer of gin, vodka and ‘moonshine’, located at Laceys Creek.
Every last delicious drop of their small-batch spirits is handcrafted in their tiny family distillery in the stunning D’Aguilar foothills. They blend their own rainwater and locally sourced sugar cane, fermenting, triple-distilling then filtering through volcanic rock.

Background
John’s passion for small-batch, from-scratch spirits began in 2013, when he learned the process with his Uncle Tom in Booroobin, near Maleny.
The dream sparked alive, and he felt a strong pull to the country. In 2018, John started Laceys Hill in the hills of Moreton Bay region.
He loves creating award-winning spirits with his partner, Cass, and their two dogs, Pepper & Molly.
