About Us
“Little White Goat Cheese is a Moreton Bay farmer and producer of Goat Milk Cheese located at Wamuran in the region’s west.
They make Persian goat feta and sell it by the kilogram so you can feed a party! This cheese is great for larger style gigs, events or just keeping in your pantry for the next dinner party or 10.
They also make freeze-dried goat feta: it has an 18-month shelf life and produces zero waste. There are many uses in your family meals: in breads, pastries, pastas, sauces, pizzas, even desserts. Perfect for feeding a hungry hoard of pizza/pasta loving kids!
Background
Karen was a school teacher on and off for 30 years and became disheartened with the education system. She bought two goats, then a buck and now has around 60 girls.
Karen knows each one by name and they are loved and cared for. She practises humane and ethical farming practices and her girls live out their life on the farm regardless of whether or not they reproduce and provide milk.
When Covid decimated her restaurant trade, she decided to freeze-dry a load of feta. It was an instant success and is now sold all over Australia.
