About Us
“Ocean View Estates is located at Ocean View in the rolling hills of western Moreton Bay region.
It is a multi-award-winning tourist destination, winery, wedding venue and restaurant.
The estate prides itself on the production of high quality red and white wines. They deliver a high class dining experience while creating a relaxing environment for all guests.
The restaurant serves a range of delectable meals made with estate grown or locally sourced ingredients.
Ocean View Estates also provides an educational experience that informs guests about the grape growing and wine making processes.
Background
The property was purchased by Calvin and Rosie and the first vineyard was planted in 1998. This led to the Ocean View Estates that is known and loved today.
Working with Kate and Thomas, they planted additional vineyards – these are responsible for producing their award-winning wines.
The restaurant, function space and winery have been evolving and thriving since the beginning of the journey. Their goal is to come together as a community to provide a unique experience for all.

The first varieties planted included chardonnay, shiraz and ruby cabernet grapes.

The altitude of the vineyard sits at 450 metres above sea level.
